Week 4 Premier League Predicted Scores

Updated: Sep 21, 2023

Premier League

Lutton Town 1 vs West Ham 2

This will mark the first meeting between these two sides since an FA Cup replay in the 1993/94 season, where the Hatters won at home 3-2.

This will be a challenging opening season game for Lutton in front of their home fans, with David Moyes side being one of the hottest teams so far this season, racking up wins away at Brighton last week and Chelsea at home.

I believe with the signings that the Hammers have made they will be too much for Lutton to overcome.

Kick Off - Friday, September 1st, 2023 at 20:00 BST

Sheffield United 1 vs Everton 1

So far, The opening fixtures for both teams are pretty abysmal and not what either club wanted.

This looks like it won't be a high-scoring affair if the results from the opening games this season stay true. With Sheffield only bagging two goals in their opening three games and Everton still waiting to get off the mark after their first three games.

Manchester City 3 vs Fulham 0

Manchester City have beaten Fulham in the last fourteen meetings between the two teams, which should give them a mental boost heading into Saturday's fixture.

With the game at the Etihad and Fulham having to play in midweek against Tottenham. The champions will have a physical advantage by being better rested than their opponents.

Even though Fulham had a great showing in the midweek against Tottenham, knocking them out of the Carabao Cup, the current Champions will be too much for them.

Kick Off - Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 at 15:00 BST

Chelsea 2 vs Nottingham Forest 1

Nottingham Forest has had a good showing so far this season on the pitch but has not been able to get results against Arsenal or Man United. I believe this will be the same case against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Forest hasn't beaten Chelsea in the last nine outings against them, and with Pochettino's men getting a decisive win over Lutton last week, he will want to push on with another win at home.

Kick Off - Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 at 15:00 BST

Burnley 2 vs Tottenham 3

I believe this could be the game of the weekend. Yes, Burnley hasn't won a game yet in the premier league, but I think their style of football against Tottenham's style will make for an intriguing matchup.

With Tottenham wanting to rebound from the midweek loss against Fulham that knocked them out of the Carabao Cup. They will have the better quality in players, which I believe will get them over the line, but it will be a test at Turf Moor.

For Burnley, it's a chance to try and get their first win in the Premier League and the first win at home after failing at the first two attempts of the season.

Kick Off - Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 at 15:00 BST

Brentford 2 vs Bournemouth 0

Brentford have beaten Bournemouth in the last four games at home. Also Brentford have only lost one game in the last sixteen at home, i think it's safe to say it's going to be a hard ask of Bournemouth to go to the GTech and take this win.

With Bournemouth not registering a win yet this season, from how the season has started i don't think they will start on Saturday against Bournemouth.

Kick Off - Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 at 15:00 BST

Brighton 2 vs Newcastle 4

This game is interesting, with both teams being served humiliating defeats last week, with Brighton being hammered by the West Ham Hammers at home 3-1 and Newcastle losing to a 10 men Liverpool side 2-1 at home.

This will be a well-contested game with two teams that play great football. Expect goals in this fixture with both teams front lines being the best part of their teams.

Kick Off - Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 at 17:30 BST

Crystal Palace 2 vs Wolves 1

Crystal Palace have won their last four home games against Wolves.

Roy Hodgsons men have started well this season so far, with a win and a draw in their first three games of the season. They will look to try to make it another win at home on Sunday.

For Wolves, after their showing against Manchester United in the opening game of the season, even though they lost, they looked like a formidable team. Getting their first win last weekend away at Everton will boost their confidence, but with the Matheus Nunes situation festering in the background, Gary O'Neil's men must focus on the task at hand.

Kick Off - Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 at 14:00 BST

Liverpool 3 vs Aston Villa 1

Liverpool have won their last nine out of eleven against Villa in the Premier League.

Liverpool will be looking to add to their momentum after last weeks stunning comeback at Newcastle with 10 men. In front of the home crowd at Anfield, it will be a hard day for Villa, and they will need to be at the top of their game to make it a contest.

The one bright spot for Villa is that Liverpool captain Virgil Van Dijk will be suspended for this game, and they will hope Diaby and Ollie Watkins can exploit the defenders absence.

Also, for Villa, they have a midweek game they have to play in the Europa Conference League that will add to the team's fatigue before Sundays game.

Kick Off - Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 at 14:00 BST

Arsenal 2 vs Manchester United 1

This being the biggest match-up of the weekend, with 2nd and 3rd from last season taking each other on at the Emirates, it should be a fun game to watch.

Both teams come into it with shaky results and some sub par performances so far this season compared to what they looked like last season. So this could be a big game for both to launch their campaign to challenge this year.

Unfortunately for Manchester United their record away at arsenal in recent years has been dreadful with no wins in 5 with 4 losses and 1 draw.

Also both teams being struck by injuries. For United Varane, Shaw and Mount will not be available due to injury but they might see the start for their new striker Hojlund this weekend.

For the Gunners they will be without Jurrien Timber who looks to be out for the season and Gabriel in their back line. So you might see Ben White coming into play center back like he has in the first 3 games.

In all Arsenal look to have the edge in this encounter on Sunday.
